About Us

Who we are

  • We are Christians who are committed to teaching "the whole purpose of God" (Acts 20:27). We are not a part of any denomination but are an independent church.
  • The only authoritative source of our teaching comes from the Bible. We believe in its objective: "... These (things) have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name." (John 20:31)
  • Just as God desires the salvation of every soul (1 Timothy 2:4), so we also are deeply interested in giving every person an opportunity to hear the gospel of Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that salvation is found only through His name (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).

What we offer

  • Our earnest desire is to "worship God in spirit and truth" (John 4:24). You are cordially invited to share in our Bible studies and learn with us "what the will of the Lord is" (Ephesians 5:17). We welcome you to our service regardless of your religious beliefs.
  • We encourage you to study God's Word, the Bible, with us. We want to help anyone who is sincerely seeking the truth, which is in Christ. Our services are intended to edify, educate, and encourage. The Bible teaches that Christ's gospel, not entertainment or theatrics, should be sufficient to draw men to worship God (John 12:32, 1 Corinthians 2:1-5).
  • When you visit us, you will be treated as a valued guest. Our emphasis is on providing you with what you need to have a right relationship with God. Feel free to ask questions concerning anything that we say or do during your visit.
  • If you wish, we would be happy to offer you an in-home, private Bible study. All you have to do is ask, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
  • We invite you to learn and explore God's Word with us.

What to expect

  • PRAYER: we believe in the activity and power of prayer to God, and that God listens to those who put their trust in His providence (Luke 11:1-10; James 1:5-8).
  • BIBLE STUDY: we teach the Bible as the inspired, authoritative word of God (1 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • COMMUNION [LORD'S SUPPER]: weekly, we observe the memorial of Christ's sacrifice on the cross (1 Corinthians 11:23-27)
  • CONGREGATIONAL SINGING: the Bible instructs us to regularly engage in singing as part of teaching and admonishing one another, as well as giving praise to God (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16-17).
  • GOSPEL PREACHING: declaring the gospel message from God's Word (Romans 1:16; Acts 10:42; 2 Timothy 4:2)
  • OFFERING: this is an expectation of our members, not our guests. We never solicit money from our guests at our services. Nor do we solicit or sell anything to the community. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)
  • We view every assembly as an opportunity "to stimulate one another to love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24)
